The Manor is a luxury lodge located on the Shangri-La Coffee Estate and covers 6km2 of the Ngorongoro Highlands, adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Most visitors will probably use this as a place to eat and sleep – while driving into the Ngorongoro Crater during the day for their main activity.
The Manor's main areas are inside the beautiful manor house, with traditional gables and wooden windows. It provides guests with 18 individual rooms and 1 stable cottage all en suite. In the main area of the lodge you can find a swimming pool, spa, billiards room, gift shop and cinema all powered 24 hours a day. Guests can also use the Wi-Fi and charging facilities at their pleasure.
Activities on offer include game drives, excursions to the Lake Manyara National Park and the Olduvai Gorge, bush lunches, horse riding, coffee tours, and nature walks.
